I concur....Independence Day was a good, traditional "shoot 'em up" space cowboy flick, much as The Star Wars Trilogy was. I also saw Van Helsing. Excellent special effects but too tongue-in-cheek for me. There again, I like scary stuff that makes me believe in the antagonists ultimate evil (as evil as three scantily clad, beautiful, sex-as-hell young vampiresses can be....what's a little blood compared to a night of unbridled four-way passion ( ... )

you watched Dr Doolittle 2?
Did you lose a bet or something?
Van Helsing, *groan*
if you want a better Pulp Action flick
"Hell Boy"
Excellent comic book very well adapted to the big screen, evil baddies, noble heros, Nazis, and Big Red himself.

I don't think that I've watched Law and Order in 4 years now, its never really drawn me in.
And SVU always made me feel dirty watching it.

the series, tomorrow night :)
