FIRST OF ALL: Leah got video of Sunday’s panel which was amazing. She got Mary’s answer to the Fem-in-in-i-ty question and the Fan appreciation at the end. Alessandro is win at the end of the second one. <3

Thanks for this; it's fabulous! I missed out on Mary's Q&A session in Toronto because she had to leave. I wanted to ask her a question on femininity in regards to her illness--I'm writing my graduating thesis on Laura and the tradition of the female body in leadership. Do you remember what the question was per chance?

Cool! The question was (roughly) "From the Miniseries you can see a gradual progression in Laura's demeanor from gender neutral to a more feminine expression (ie new caprica). Was that related to her cancer?" And Mary basically said it wasn't because of her cancer but because they were trusting her power mixed with her femininity. And then the vid is everything after that.

oh, btw, more of the Kayla things were:

"Remember that time Mary combed her hair and we found Saddam Hussein?"

"Remember that time Mary winked and the universe was created?"

"Remember that time Mary was in a tree and all the fangirls ate from her and then they saw that they were all naked?"

"Remember that time Mary was sent down the river in a basket....and then she freed the slaves....and then parted the red seas?" to which I replied, "YES! Twice! She survived and came back to prove she could do it again."

Also something about Chuck Norris or Superman...

"Yeah, Mary is God." was something to do with airlocks. Kayla referenced "out the airlock" and we took that to mean Mary was in control of said airlock in her God-like ways. I think that's how the whole thing started actually.
