help needed!

i discovered how much i love dirty vodka martinis the other night. now i need to figure out how to make them at home so i can be a frugal alcoholic.

any suggestions for the perfect dirty vodka martini?

Dirty martinis are my FAVORITE! I like to make them using jalapeno-stuffed olives for a little kick. I bypass the vermouth entirely and just go straight vodka with a splash of the brine from the olives tipped in. It will take a little tinkering around before you find the ratio of brine to vodka that you like.

Another thing I've been meaning to try is to make these with Absolut Peppar for even more kick but haven't gotten around to it yet. Let me know if you ever wanna get together and have a dirty martini night!

I skip out on the vermouth too... My favorite mod is to use Garlic Stuffed Olives, or Bleu Cheese stuffed olives.. The dirtier the better... =)

I've done them with the bleu cheese stuffed olives too. The first time I had one with the bleu, it made me gag a little, but they've slowly grown on me and now I really like them!
