LOL. Gratz on the new comp. Good to see you post. Someone ought to have come up with a better bundle name than "Can'o'pus" though. I can see infected wounds and spouting when I see that name.
Congrats on the new machine! I know how it is to want to do your thing and not be able to (I've been without a sound machine before and it SUCKS!).
If you get involved in any video/film projects and need any sound work done, let me know. I'm working at a full-service post house now, doing sound for commercials and things. I'm still an intern, but they're pretty much letting me do everything.
Music, sfx, editing and sync, you name it... I'd love to work on something! :)
right on! i don't know if you remember me filming and conducting interviews before you left, but i've got quite a bit of footage from then and even more since. so, i have a project under way. ideally, i would like the finished product by Jan/Feb 2006. we should certainly talk about this!
aww thanks! well a friend of mine is going to shoot footage and give me the tape. and i will actually be able to do something with it right away! it's Mickey on drums, Dana on guitar and vocals, Lane on bass and supporting vocals. we are having a blast!
