My boss informed me that I will be learning a new job next week so I can take the multi-faceted approach to the workplace. He said that people who do the job I'm doing right now go loopy after a while coz it's such a grueling task. I don't really think it's that grueling and I was already a tad loopy to begin with but whatever ( Read more... )

I thought the same thing about Hoobastank just the other day.

I counted the other day and the radio station they play at work spun that song a total of 13 times in an eight hour shift. That even beats Nickleback in the annoying factor and that's no small feat.

Heh, that's gotta be the most common thought about Hoobastank.

I'd never even heard of them before I asked a co-worker who sang that horrible, make me wanna cut my wrists song.

I haven't ever heard the new song, I just remember hearing the old cd when it passed through the radio station I used to be a music director for. Really horrible stuff. I couldn't believe it when I'd get playlists with that listed on them.

I'm not sure which is the Finger 11 one but I'm guessing I've heard it in between Hoobastank, Tragically Hip and the Totally Awful Chili Peppers.

Oh, GOD. I freakin' HATE that song! The Reason now beats out even Underneath It All (if you can't remember it, lucky you.) Funny thing is I even sort of liked it when I first heard it-- I would chuckle and call it the emo soft rock song. There's an emo hard rock one too. But yeah, that song drives me freakin' insane! Stupid radio stations who play the same things over and over!

Yet another reason for me to abhor mainstream music.

The funny thing about that band is their first single a long time ago was just really shitty "hard rock", and now they are back and sound like shitty emo rock.

I never heard their old stuff but their new material is enough to make me wanna hunt them down and smite them.
