Yeah, so since I'm going to be doing this all of vacation, I figured I'd update my LJ and say what my final college list has come down to.

In order of preference:Brown

Your college list is so impressive! The process is so tough... good luck with everything! In the end, you will end up at the school you belong at (or, most likely you will).

Also remember that sometimes safety schools don't accept kids that look almost too good because they KNOW that you are treating them as a safety. I know of one kid who got into Harvard but not Providence. So don't be too offended if they don't accept you.. it just means you're too good :)

Sorry to be babbling, but also Clark was the first school I visited ever. What did you like about it? It's the one school I looked at that turned me off a lot.

That's interesting that Clark turned you off a lot because it's actually one of my favorite schools, even though it is my safety. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I know several people who go there who are really awesome people and when I visited Clark, I visited them. So knowing that they went there (and all 3 of them got in Early Decision, too) and love Clark made me think that I would like the people who went there because they did.. And when I ate dinner in the cafeteria, I liked what I saw. There seemed to be a good mix of people--a homogenous school was at the top of my no-no list--and they all seemed pretty friendly, too.

So I guess that's what made me like Clark.. I know some people who really didn't like it too, but that just shows how everyone is different and no school is perfect for everyone, yanno?

I am glad the you like Barnard so much. It is a wonderful school, and you are the only senior who I know who is applying there this year. I believe that they will accept you because they would be complete fools not to - and I don't think they are...

Its funny that you were listening to Shane & Shane last night. I was too. I have become big fans of theirs. I hope they see fit to join us in Nashville...
