I figured somebody here must know! I'm planning to take the Oxford-Heathrow bus from Gloucester Green next week. Do I have to book in advance, or can I get a ticket and travel immediately? (And if it is relevant, I'm planning to take the bus on Thursday at 4am.)

You don't have to book in advance - just buy a ticket from the driver. Although don't forget you'll need cash, not cheque or credit card! The driver can sell you any kind of ticket from a single to a multi-pass, so no worries there.

No problem. Meant to add this link, so you know how much cash you'll need :)

It's like the bus to London; just turn up and go. Get there maybe 10 minutes early, to facilitate the loading of luggage and ontime departure.
