Harley pouted to herself when Ivy made her stop wearing the cake-scented perfume. All she'd had to say was "chemicals," in the disdainful but firm tone of voice she normally reserved for the Batman, and Harley knew her days of wearing Happiest of Birthdays were over.

Still, it was a lot better than not being noticed at all. With Mr. J, she'd run through at least a dozen variations of cookies, fried chicken, birthday cake, chocolate, and raw fish without a single comment. (Except for the raw fish one. It was one of the few times she'd ever heard him say Not funny.)

A week after she'd gotten rid of the bottle, though, she found an addendum on Ivy's grocery list: Milk, pomegranates, bread, diamonds. DO NOT FORGET THE CROWBAR THIS TIME.
