Well as most of you already knew, my dad suffered from alot of mental illnesses for a number of years. I'm feeling pretty open about it right now, so don't read this unless you want to know some not-so-great stuff

Thanks, MJ. You're right it's been hard and planning this was the last thing on my list especially since we lost Grandma back in August. Thank you for everything, dear.

Watching someone you love go through this is never, ever easy. My thoughts go out to you and your family. I'll be in Chicago until Saturday, so unfortunately I won't be able to attend the funeral. I'll be thinking of you! Definitely call/email me if you want to talk.

PS. Give a big hug to your mom. I'm sure this isn't easy on her. :(

Thank you so much for thinking about attending. I'm so lucky that you would consider going. Mom had held it together pretty well, mainly for us kids. She really started to break down yesterday after watching a DVD that Dad made. I've not been able to watch it yet. I'm just not that ready.
