If it's Ally, then the majority of mainstream ones do, yes. However, 'Boogeyman' didn't really so much, but that was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. Open Water was an exception, but I don't know if you'd called that horror. Then we have the flow of zombie flicks (28 Days Later, Dawn/Shaun of the Dead, Resident Evil), and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre stands alone. But we can't say these are the masters of originality- most are remakes or remakes of a classic genre. We also have the upcoming House of Wax and The Fog, but again, we can't argue them since they're both remakes.
If this is Meghan, then go rent Pulp Fiction, and while you're there look in the Horror section and answer you're own question.
I would not call Open Water horror, either. I'd call it a waste of my money. Maybe I should have qualified my argument to: many main stream horror movies I haven't been scared since Signs came out House of Wax, whether it has a little kid in it or not, stars Paris Hilton, and thus speaks for itself.
Oh, if you're talking since Signs I want to pardon The Ring from this group. It was the first to use "the kid", and one of the best horror movies ever made, along with Signs.
O keat, i can't wait for our picnic and i was ver scared n can;t believe you took me to see that. and then sent me home. Alone. That;s not wut the doctor orderd. BUt i still love you. lol And ,... i have to see Pulp Fiction, seeing as how i bought you the special edition, i think that should be added to our list of things to do this week. We have the time. We also have to revist some old territories.
