what an awesome feeling, to be producing your own food. i'm hoping to grow more than herbs on the balcony this year.

I haven't tried it myself, but I've people growing lettuce very successfully in containers. (Salad greens are my favourite to be growing, because they're SO much nicer when they're fresh)

I'm planning on planting cherry tomatoes (and maybe a few other things) from seed this year so if you like you can have some seedlings, I always end up with far too many!

Yummmmm I love home grown food! I have heaps atm in my yard, even though I haven't been out and checked in awhile :)
