I have what used to be my maternal grandmother's sewing machine, a Singer that was originally treadle-operator but was retrofitted at some point with a motor. My mother has the stand for it (and refuses to give it to me), which is lacking some of the original hardware that connected the wheel (spun by the treadle) to the sewing machine.

Do you know what the model is? The Singer stands are very attractive, so I can see why your mother would want to keep it! We actually have a Singer treadle stand here, it was left behind by the previous occupant of our house who mysteriously took the sewing machine with her, but not the stand or the motor that was attached. Since it's useless without the machine I removed the motor and the top, and converted it into a table.

Unfortunately, the machine has been in storage for so many years that I no longer remember its model number.
