Easter to-do list

Apr 10, 2009 11:24

It's the first day in a four-day long weekend (Hurrah for Easter and silly religious people!) and as tempting as it is to spend the whole weekend being a sloth watching anime, I have things to do.

Finish filling in the forms for my new passport
Finalise my itinerary and... It's not finalised, but it's as close as I can get to right now.
Book tix for the international leg of my trip FUCK YEAH! Leaving 15/08/2009 and coming back 18/10/2009. Three weeks for UK, three for US, and the last three will be in France/Italy/Malta.

Order the WWOOF handbook for UK (Changed my mind, I'll sign up closer to the time since my membership will be valid for a year and there's the chance I'll be going back next year...)

Re-enrol & pay for contortionist classes at Circus Oz next term
Organise a night to teach Auslan at Westside Circus next term (labour exchange - Auslan for free circus class. Yay!)
Write job application (Job #1 is advertising a 18 months contract as an extension to our current contract)
Do a few files for Job #2. (one done, two left)
Reply to emails (a few are semi-urgent) (Two done, three to go)
Make the huge pile of clothes next to my wardrobe vanish.
Make the clutter on my desks vanish.
Garden!
- pull out old silverbeet plants
- make a new bed around the rhubarb & parsley plants, weed & edge.
- pot more cuttings
- decide if it's worth putting in any seedlings this autumn (since I'm insanely busy & will be away August - October. (No, my pot plants are enough. I have potted daffodils bulbs!
Do some sewing... I have about four dresses that need altering.

...and for bonus points I did a zillion other things, like moving the ferns out of the shower cubicle where they've been there since the start of the summer, to back outside hanging on our side fence, organised circus training on Sunday with one of my best friends and organised dinner with my brother.

Before I start on all that, though, I'm going to eat hot cross buns and watch my weekly dose of Naruto.
