This is an adorable fic without actually being adorable, it's...kind of hard to explain. It's sweet and perfect and just, Dan, yeah, just Dan. I don't even know, man. Enjoyed this on the kinkmeme and enjoyed it again here. :D

This is the first thing I've seen that makes me have any desire to read (or see) Watchmen. Heartbreaking and true -- I've known countless folks who went into aerospace with dreams like these.

Oh WOW. Your characterization and imagery is PERFECT; I could almost feel that exhilaration that Dan felt. Plus, flying is one of my kinks - so much the better! :D
