Received an e-mail from my alma mater with a link to a Q&A on the latest building project: converting a former middle school into an arts center.

LOL, yes. There are a number of buildings on my alma mater's campus whose "aesthetic merit is not obvious." What was it about 60s brutalism that possessed all those universities to build in it?
