Above the earths surface was the distance at which I flung myself off of a perfectly good airplane in Wisconsin at approximately 9:00 am... It was definetly exhilirating. Absolutely nothingt you would expect, but better. Really rather calming, if you can believe that ( Read more... )

I'm impressed.

Did you do anything to prep yourself for the event, or was it more spontaneous? I've always wanted to do that, but don't think I have the guts to throw myself out of a plane. I yield to the better man :)

Also, call me a scaredy-cat and a penny-pusher, but how much did it cost?

Would have been 190, but due to a group discount 150, plus an addition 80$ for the dvd of the ride (keep in mind when buying a dvd of your skydive you are also affording the camera man to go with you on the jump meaning you're paying for an extra parashut package.) Yes indeed, it was spendy, but oddly, worth it.

My sister decided to go skydiving last october and invited me to go with this summer, but i didnt decide if i was going to watch or to participate until she was putting on her jumpsuit already. So I think it was more spontaneous. I didn't tell anyone until after it was over...
