Busy as a bee

Guess you didn't get the chance to post.

I just got back from our teacher's convention. Some of the sessions I attended were actually quite interesting and beneficial compared to some I've gone to in the past. Most of the ones I went to were related to math, since that is the bulk of what I now teach. Hopefully I can find the time to implement some of the ideas and activities I learned about.

I didn't spend a whole lot of money on resources this year at the convention, which is good, but I did kind of splurge on something for myself. I now am the owner of a 2005 Chevy Avalanche. My Sable has 240,000 km on it and is in need of a few repairs (muffler, shocks), so I figured it was time for a change.

Yeah, I didn't ... sorry. Really, I don't have all that much to post about anyway.

Congrats on the new vehicle! I wish I could buy a new car ... but I'll still be paying mine off for a while.
