You know what, I'll tell you this. So far, of all the Japanese I have ever met, you speak the best English and Tagalog! I mean it. Imagine? You have little to no problem with both foreign languages! That's amazing! So you have nothing to be shy about.
You know how some (or almost all?) Japanese say "Nihongo wa jôzu desu ne" to gaijin even if they are really, really terrible at it? That's not the case here. You really are good. ; )
