There sits in a bar a young man dressed in a suit, reading and rocking a little basket with his foot. One might think it merely a nervous tick or a strange experiment, but a single look into the basket reveals the much more mundane answer.

Well, mundane enough. The babe there, though sleeping and sweet-looking, was green.

Liir looked up at his uncle with a smile.

"Was I lost? I thought I'd placed myself rather conspicuously," he said as he closed his book.

"No, I just wasn't sure where you'd wandered off to. Had this thought, you see..."

He merely quirked his head, curious what this thought might be. His uncle could come up with some terribly interesting ideas.

Morrigan is not altogether fond of children. For the most part, they are smelly little things with little-to-no real use.

Except, of course, the child that she is carrying right now. She is very pregnant as she steps into the bar, and she glances readily to the basket of ... green child.

How very odd.

Sharp green eyes peer over at her, somewhat curious though mostly suspicious.

"Can we help you madam?"

"Merely observing."

Most people knew (and Morrigan would be rue to admit it, but...) she had not had any sort of mothering experience from Flemeth. Of course, the child would be raised in a similar manner - to value power above all else - but surely there were some things she could improve upon.

"I'd appreciate if you kept all observations to yourself about my daughter," he said with a firm nod. It wasn't rudeness, exactly. It was just an attempt at bluntness from a sharp individual; the awkward nature of it was almost impossible to avoid.
