I'm getting so worried for them because they can't seem to communicate :( Logan was upset that he was doing Veronica from behind and couldn't watch her, while she was happy to try something new. I need for them to be happy! I'm also getting worried that Veronica isn't telling anyone that Logan is her boyfriend, and Taylor seems to think he's single since Logan has previously flirted with her. I think this fic will end up giving me an ulcer ;D

Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you liked the storage area scene as that was also one of my favourites. It was fun to write, in a semi-evil way (I feel a 'mwah-ha-ha-ha' coming on).

"...but I always believed she was trying not to be invested in their relationship, but clearly was." Without sounding too smug, this is almost exactly the Veronica I am trying to create here. She is the lover and we know it, but her actions don't say it.

If I said 20 chapters would that sound ridiculous? :-)

20 chapters isn't ridiculous at all. It's very ambitious and I can't say I'm going to complain about an L/V story that long, even if a great deal of it is angst. :-)

I worry like Merc...especially about Logan and an OFC that thinks he's single or him seemingly pulling away from Veronica...I need to know if I need to get out now because L/V is drifting too much away from each other and it's painful and sad!

Okay, I'm in then and hopefully I won't have to endure too much more of L/V drifting apart or some OFC flirting with Logan and thinking he's single and possibly interested (*shudders*) *crosses fingers* :) :) I am enjoying it so far (other than that..Hee!) and I love that Parker remains bubbly (and out of Logan's life hopefully!) in this one!

hmmm... are those smiley faces to guilt me into not putting Logan with an OFC? ;-)

I always preferred Parker how she was at the very beginning, but we didn't get to see much of her like that, so I'm bringing her back to her roots. She's more fun to write that way.

I agree with the other posters here that the dynamic between L&V is painful, but it's perfectly in line with the way they treated each other at the start of season 3! They seemed so distant (I think part of the problem was bad direction, but that's another discussion for another time), compared to how they were at the end of season 2. I love that you're providing explanations for what was going on their heads to make them act that way.

Oh man, the impending doom is making my heart ache. I won't go into detail on that issue because it will never end, but I really love this fic. The miscommunication is killing me of course, and I'm going to have to hurt Logan if he keeps flirting with Taylor, but it's still great to read!
