Hi. I grew up in Hobart. :) What part are you from? I'm going back next weekend for my Mom's 60th. :) Such a pity about the Spotlight fire - I was in there recently. Maybe this will give them a chance to either clean it up properly or move it to another store. It was always so disorgansied and crappy in there. Spotlight's over here are immaculate!

If you're after a good quality place to buy yarn from, check out www.morrisandsons.com.au . They've been in Sydney for 30 years and I'll be the Store Manager of the new Melbourne store opening next month. Both stores do mail order over the net and everything is exceptional quality. :)

Yeah thats true, they've removed everything now and are just starting to restock the fabrics. Fingers crossed they clean it up, it was horrible trying to find things in there before.

I lived in Moonah for about three months. Haha. I lived all over Hobart. My parents live in Kingston now and my brother lives in South Hobart.

Yeah it's gonna be a huge party at my parents lovely house. I'm madly trying to finish her presents though. I've made her an amigurumi bear and I'm almost finished with a crochet cushion cover and I still have to do a scrapbooked clock. Phew!

Half the time when I went in to Spotlight they were out of stock with what I wanted anyway. :( I go to Spotlight at South Morang. It's one of their super stores here. Massive, always stocked and really good service.

Thanks. I'm really excited about the job but the tradies are taking their time which is really annoying. We thought we'd be open by now but alas no.
