Scrapbook Clock

Feb 11, 2009 14:34

This is another present that I made Mom for her 60th birthday.

This is a scrapbooked clock with the hand movements coming out of the centre piece flower.

MIDDLE - The hand movement piece was hard to work out which piece went where and all that, so I just made the whole thing and left that out and Dad can put it together for Mom, as he knows how. I just did my best to make it look alright in these photos.

TOP LEFT - I used fozz felt ribbon, lots of paper flowers and felt flowers, jewels, buttons, patterned paper.

TOP RIGHT - I made the whole thing over two of the days when it was 47*C and the glue was actually drying before I could get it on anything. Soooo annoying!

BOTTOM RIGHT - I played around with the layout for the whole thing so many times that it was doing my head in. In the end I think it looked better than what I thought it would, though there's a lot more on it than I'd anticipated but whatever.

BOTTOM LEFT - I really really like the fozz felt that I used. I had it left over from another project and it worked really well.

Once again she totally loved this. She even told everyone that I've surpassed her with scrapbooking but I highly doubt that as she's so damn good at it. I could never be as good as her.

Luv Bali.
