Comicbox's Hangusei Senki's comment
Since many people asked me to translate the comic box's notes for the Hagunsei Senki characters, here's a try. Remeber I'm no near professional translator as I am a self-taught in Japanese. I often miss some obvious phrasing.
破軍星戦記（はぐんせいせんき）
風江冬馬は眠るごとに同じ夢を見ていた。それが自らの前世の夢とは気づく間も無く、冬馬は幾度も命をねらわれた。そんりしな冬馬を「里見の八犬士」たちは、前世を気づかせぬよう、守りめく。敵は、「玉梓」数百年の憎みをはらすため、数々の手で冬馬の命をねらう。が、玉梓の側近、「神楽」が仕掛けたその時、神楽の前に立ちはだかった者は…。
Hagunsei Senki
Whenever he sleep, Kazae Touma always see the same dreams. Unaware that these are dreams from his former life's self, Touma's life is targetted many times. Like Touma, the "eight dog warriors of Satomi" guys, unaware of their previous lifes, turned to protect him. Their ennemy is the several undread years old hatered of Tamazusa, that aim for Touma's life by many hands. Thus, Tamazusa's associated, Kagura, commenced back then to confront those who stand up before her ...

CLAMP学園高等部1年在学中。のんびたマイプースな性格ではあるが反射神経はバツグン。
普段から良く眠る子で、自分自身の前世の夢を良く見るが、それを前世と気づかず、
脳天気といおうか、単に鈍感なのか、今だ目覚めることのない「仁」の戦士。
前世は里見八犬士、伏姫の双子の兄「親兵衛」である。
Kazae Touma
In his first year of senior high school at Clamp Gakuen. His reflexes are good, although he's more of the calm, going by his own pace character. He always have been a sleepy kid, he dreams of his former life, although he's not aware it is his former life, rather the intellectual type, or is it only hebetude, in his dreams he's the warrior of the charity. In his former life, he was "Inue Shinbee Masashi", the older twin brother of Fuse-hime.
龍川幸太郎（たつかわ・こうたろう）
CLAMP学園高等部2年在学中。里見八犬士、「犬川壮助義任」の転生の姿。「義」の戦士。虚山摩沙巳と共に、冬馬を守っている。冗談ばかり言っているが頼りになる冬馬の先輩。
Tatsukawa Koutarou
In his second year of senior high school at Clamp Gakuen. He was "Inukawa Sousuke Yoshitou" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in his former life. Warrior of the justice. With Koyama Masami, he protect Touma. He only says joke, but Touma rely on him as his senior.
虚山摩沙巳（こやま・まさみ）
CLAMP学園高等部2年在学中。里見八犬士、「犬山道節忠与」の転生の姿。「忠」の戦士。前世から、親兵衛（冬馬）に優しく、影のように見守り続ける。冬馬に対して少し過保護になりすぎるところがあり、すぐドツク。物事をいつも冷静に判断し、いたってマジメな性格。
Koyama Masami
In his second year of senior high school at Clamp Gakuen. He was "Inuyama Dousetsu Tadotomo" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in his former life. Warrior of the loyalty. From his former life, he was kind to Shinbee Masashi (Touma) and countinued to protect him like his shadow. He's close to become overprotective towards Touma. He always judge odd situation with calm, he's of the extremly serious type.
玄田志勇（げんだ・しゆう）
CLAMP学園高等部の古典教師。里見八犬士「犬田小文吾悌順」の転生。「悌」の戦士。冬馬のクラスの担任の先生で、冗談の通じるおおらかな先生。龍川幸太郎、虚山摩沙巳と共に、いつも冬馬の周りを見守っている。少々鈍感な所もある。
Genda Shiyuu
Litterature teacher of the senior high school of the Clamp Gakuen. He was "Inuda Kobongo Yasuyori" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in his former life. Warrior of the service to the elders. Teacher in charge of Touma's group, he's a magnanimous teacher that understand jokes. Along with Tasukawa Koutarou and Koyama Masami, he always watch over Touma. He also has some insensitive places.
凰坂朋（おうさか・ともえ）
CLAMP学園高等部3年在学中。弓道部の女子部長をつとめる。里見八犬士「犬坂毛野種胤智」の転生。「智」の戦士。良家のお嬢様タイプで、物静かな性格。学園内では女の子の人気のマトである。
Ousaka Tomoe
In her third year of senior high school at Clamp Gakuen. Manager of the women section of the archery club. She was "Inusaka Keno Tanetomo" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in her former life. Warrior of the wisdom. A good family's young girl type, she has a calm character. She's popular among the girls of the school.
孔塚葵（くづか・あおい）
CLAMP学園中等部3年在学中。里見八犬士「犬塚信乃戌孝」の転生。「孝」の戦士。気が強く、ケンカっ早い美少女。
Kuzuka Aoi
In her third year of junior high school at Clamp Gakuen. She was "Inuzuka Shino Moritaka" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in her former life. Warrior of the filial piety. With a strong character, a quick to quarrel, beautiful young girl.
鷹村蘇芳（たかむら・すおう）
CLAMP学園子学部4年在学中。里見八犬士、「犬村大角礼儀」の転生。小さいながら、落ちついた風貌ではあるが、なかなかシャマ所も見逃せない。
Takamura Suou
In his fourth year of elementary school at the Glamp Gakuen. He was "Inumura Daikaku Masanori" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in his former life. Although small and apparently calm, he cannot be overlooked.
麟飼遊人（きがい・ゆうと）
CLAMP学園大学部2回生。里見八犬士「犬飼現八信道」の戦生。全学部に広い知識をまつ。
Kigai Yuuto
Student of Clamp Gakuen University's second cycle. He was "Inugai Genpachi Nobumichi" of the eight dog warriors of Satomi in his former life. He has a wide knowledge in all matters.
明日と暮日（あけひとくらひ）
第三話で登場した玉梓の部下。鈴の音で敵を幻覚にさそい、相手を倒す。
Akehi and Kurahi
Tamazusa's underling who appeared in the third chapter. The sound of their bell trap their ennemies into an illusion where they are fighted over.
梓夜凪砂（あずやなぎさ）
CLAMP学園の幼稚児で現在の名は「梓夜凪砂」前世では、里見に仇わなした妖怪「玉梓」の生まれ変わり。
数々の手を使い冬馬を亡き者にしょうとするが、八犬士に邪魔され失敗している。
マセた子供であるのは確か。
Azuya Nagisa
She's at the Clamp Gakuen's kidergarden and her name in the present time is Azuya Nagisa, she is the reincarnation of Satomi's evil witch Tamazusa. [I don't get the first part of this sentence], she failed to hinder the eight dog warriors. She is surely a grown-up kid.
神楽（かぐら）
玉梓の側近でCLAMP学園の音楽教師。冬馬に近づき、数そうとするが司狼冬風に邪魔され失敗に終わる。
Kagura
Tamazusa's associate and Clamp Gakuen's music teacher. Acquaintance to Touma, although she made several attempts, she failed to hinder Shirou Fuyukaze in the end.
司郎冬風（しろうふゆかぜ）
CLAMP学園高等分部に赴任してきた謎の数学教師。冬馬（親兵衛）の転生を追い続けて300年、その裏には里見に対する「憎悪」か「愛」か。前世は「八房」玉梓が愛して妖怪だが、同時に里見の姫である伏姫にも愛されていた。玉梓が里見に憎しみを待つ一つの要因として彼が挙げられる。
Shirou Fuyukaze
A misterious math teacher who has just been hired by the Clamp Gakuen senior high school department. Still following Touma (Shinbee)'s reincarnation after 300 hundred years, he has a dark side opposed to Satomi, which he both hated or loved. In is former live as "Yatsufusa", he was in love with both the witch Tamazusa and the princess of Satomi Fuse-hime. Tamazusa is the main reason why he hate Satomi.
