I think there’s nothing wrong if the uploader asks people to comment to download the files. Uploading isn’t an easy job. It consumes time, PC memory, electricity and if the uploaders download the files from rayfile, clubbox, etc. there’s a high risk of getting virus which leads to destroying the PC. Therefore, the uploaders deserve an appreciation

Exactly. Like a lot of people downloaded Takky dvd because they want to see the jrs (Ebi, Kisumai, MSM, etc.). There are some that might be personal for me so answering questions to get the pass usually turns me off. It's ok if the question is optional, people can either comment or not about it

MF starts deleting files without noticing recently so I think pass-protecting is necessary if the uploader doesn't want to re-upload the same files many times (it will kill the bandwidth as well)

Personally I don't think highly of passworded links in general because as you said, its fine if its their own file but if its not even theirs, why password-lock it?

BUT of course, its better than nothing for me, and so I will comment for the password.

But, I kind of understand, since people are already commenting, might as well comment something other than "pw pls".. because me myself I feel like its such a waste of comment if its just for passwords.. So I don't see nothing wrong with having a topic/question asked along with plea for passwords, GIVEN THEY ARE JUSTIFIED. >..<
I mean like, ichibans & OTPS are fine and fun, but making a fanfic for password..

"I" don't have any problem with making fanfics, and I don't want to say other people don't have the capabilities of making one too, but NOT EVERYONE can make fanfics yo..

When the poster said, "comment is love," it basically means we only need to leave a simple thanks. It's quite depressing if there are more 100 downloads and less than 10 comments. One's effort isn't appreciated, that person would given up on sharing as well. Of course, we wouldn't want that to happen right~

If I don't follow a certain group, it's obvious that I don't have any ichiban or OPT in that group either. I'd rather say something like "I'm a new fan, and start to notice them blah blah blah." If my answer isn't acceptable, then I don't need that file anymore. Writing isn't my strong point so writing fanfic is a big "no no" for me too -.-"

I'm ranting as well. I hope my post doesn't mess up your f-list. It's refreshing to discuss bout fandom once in a while ^^

nope, I love reading rant posts from anyone of my friends & people I like.. It makes me know a bit about themselves.^^

Of course, I also understand the need to be reassured that there are people who do use these shared files.. so commenting for password is reasonable..

But please just don't ask for something ridiculous like fanfics arghh... ><

To be honest, I don't mind whether the dl link has password or not. The uploader has his/her own reasons. Maybe he/she set password to avoid hotlink and I think it's a good reason. For example, in 100shikitv, puppeteer8 requires a comment to get password for all her HD video. I think she wants us to spend time reading her rules so I didn't feel uncomfortable when I asked her for password.

But I really don't like some pp making us answer some questions to get the password of each file they uploaded. They told they were busy, but why they have to make pp comment, answer their questions, and then they answer each comment, sending password to each person. They are wasting their time, aren't they?

A~ I haven't watched Hyakushiki since Shoon left :( Irea is not only an uploader, but also an original raw provider so she has all the rights to do whatever she wants with the videos. Besides, all of her videos have the same password, and she's always a modest nice person in the fandom. I respect her ♥

Setting different pass to each post is even more annoying than friend-only post in my opinion. I'd rather download from the original source with slower speed.

Hi, i'm a newbie in lj,n i'm quite suprise when noticing that there are many fans/uploader that requested many things in order to join the community o for the password. Commenting for pswrd is ok, i don mind n i usually comment n say thanx to them, but to judge fans b4 joining the community, i don really agree with it. Maybe they just want to share every performance/info with ONLY die hard fan. So far, i'm not accepted to the community i requested. Sad~ but they decided that way, then i can't do anything, since i'm not a die hard fan, i'm just a fan~

Since i'm new here, dunno much. I've downloaded one of ur link already, THNX a lot ne..
