*singing* Mamma Mia!!

Eldest kidnapped me today and took me to see Mamma Mia!! And I LOVED it! It was pure escapism, a complete fairytale, but oh it was fun! Usually these sort of things are aimed at the kids, but I can tell you this brought out the kids in a theatre FULL of people whose average ages would have to have made me about the second youngest in the theatre,

Am seriously happy to hear you loved the movie. Made plans to go and see it with workout buddy as soon as she comes back from her vacation (yeah, another one *g*) next week. Yay!

Heeee! Well, put it this way, if you don't mind a hint that will probably become a spoiler then read the strike out at the end! LOL

But be ready to just suspend any concept of 'reality' cuz it's a lovely, fun, happy, with the obligatory tear-jerking moments (even eldest was sniffling at one point) romp on a Greek island!

Kevin, Bill and Joey should be impressed with the outcome, so to speak.

I'll be seeing it again - it's one of those 'feel good' movies. My fave before has always been both 'Sister Act' movies, with the big musical productions etc, and I love those. This will be joining it!
