Wow, the last couple of days here have been damned rugged weather-wise. Last night the premier declared a state of emergency because of flooding and gale-force winds. Sadly a man was killed when he was hit by an awning that blew off a building, and another was lucky to survive when a large shard of glass from a shattered building window hit him in

Today's try outs for all the kids from Yrs 8-10 for rowing were cancelled due to the terrible windy conditions, NOT ideal for new kids to try out the sport.
