I loved The OC last night. But I loved Angel more. I can't tell you what a great feeling that is. I thought last night's Angel kicked all sorts of ass. I need to read up on who wrote it. It's very cool being unspoiled, too. I literally gasped or screamed 3 times during the episode. When Wes emptied that gun into his father's chest without

When Wes emptied that gun into his father's chest without hesitating when he turned the gun on Fred? I was in shock, in a good way.

Oh, me too. I loved how he just friggin' emptied his gun into him, no hesitation whatsoever. Go Wes! And then, the staggering and vomiting was perfect.

I still hate the Fred/WHoever/Wes triangle. HATE IT.

The scene in the elevator was lame. Eve blows And it was so sadly obvious that the two actors weren't anywhere near each other.

I am so not into Fred/Wes at ALL. But last night, when he told her to go with Knox? I think he let it go. FINALLY.

I also agree that Eve blows beyond the telling, but I liked the scene in that it may lead to an interesting storyline for Spike. As much as I like him around for comic relief (and there was that last night), I felt like he just fit in with the show better than ever last night.

And Eve's face in the elevator when she was looking at Spike? Ew. Something is very very off with her eyes or something.

Thank you! For weeks I have been saying to dreago that there's something wrong with Eve's face and she just thinks I'm insane.

Hee. At first I thought she looked like she was going to puke. But then I realized that that's just how her bizarro face arranges itself. That combined with her squeaky-voiced, flat line readings, and I just want her to be stuck in the elevator forever. Buh bye, Eve. Get off the show. Now.

I loved loved the episode -- except for the Lilah reference. It annoys me that Wes and Lilah's relationship (or in my mind, their lovethatissocanonicallymessed-upyetpure) still gets referenced post-mindwipe, since we've been getting lame Wes-longing-after-Fred scenes for seven episodes. Excuse me, Mutant Enemy -- a bit of respect for the dead evil-lawyer lover, okay?

But then I think of how pretty Wes is with guns, and my irritation melts away. ;-)

Ah, yes, that pesky "mindwipe" that only somehow wiped out Connor... um, yeah. I hear you. And Wes longing after Fred never ceases to confound (i.e., disgust) me. But it's over now. OVER! And Lilah will come back and they will have lots and lots of hot/sweaty/it's really love/sex.
