1. Did you know that Mannfred Mann's Earth Band covered this song too, not just "Blinded by the Light?" Their version isn't as good. It's not as different as their version of "Blinded by the Light," either. They also covered one of the other songs off "Greetings From Asbury Park," but I can't remember which one.
2. I think that "For You" is the prototype for Rosalita (Come out Tonight). Clearly, this is just a theory, but they're similar in aesthetics and theme. And the song "Born to Run" is clearly built off of "Rosalita (Come out Tonight)." And of course "Born to Run" the album is clearly built around it's titular song, an album which changed rock and roll forever!
