On this day in 2002 I first set foot in London. Actually, it was the second time as I had a holiday here after finishing school in 1995, but anyway. Congratulations on your anniversary! A New Zealand friend of mine is also claiming it's his tenth anniversary of London today - hooray for Antipodean dudes who adopt this weird old city and make it better!

This! It does get easier, but my little sister made me cry tonight by sending me a birthday card with lots of prints of little Evelyn inside it - sometimes a physical photo seems so much better than FB, when the real thing is too far away.
