Well damn!

"people were complex, and the time to make up your mind about people was never."

Gorgeous line, and as good a Pansy/Ginny as I have ever read.

Really wonderful, hot as blazes, with just the right touch of tenderness and vulnerability. Outstanding!

my gosh! You have just made a Pansy fan and I'm going to ff.net and pair her up with as many girls as I can. Hot damn that was hot!

Thank you for this story. I can imagine a relationship between these two now.

i've TOTALLY fallen in love w/ this fic! a Pansy/Ginny is a wonderful pairing for me because it sets up a lot of juicy and angsty-sexy possibilities: both from pureblood families, both belonged to the most famous/infamous Houses at Hogwarts, etc., and lots of other awesomely complex, tension-filler, kinda things. beautifully done.

Beautifully done. I love the discussion in the bar, the way you keep them both so IC and yet do such a good job of exploring the political complexities and the human dimensions of war. Canon never tried very hard to complicate the good-guy/bad-guy depictions of Gryffindors and Slytherins, the way you effectively do here; your Pansy never ceases being Pansy, but she's got appealing layers now. Plus, the banter is wonderful -- snappy and IC; the sex is great (and even better because you've been so successful at setting a believable context for it, and for the pairing overall).
