A different pretending angle. Interesting. I sort of thing Jaime could have mother issues. I've played around with the notion of Sansa reminding him of Joanna as well, although I never finished the darn thing. :) It's sad the way they both pretend and how that keeps them apart. Cool concept, my dear.

I absolutely think Jaime would have mother issues. He's not nearly as strong as he pretends to be and not entirely independent - in my headcanon he always forms a sort of dependence on Sansa, even if not necessarily in this form.

And don't even mention unfinished stories! Gah, I have so many. I think my Jaime/Sansa writer's block is gone now, though, so maybe I'll be able to finish them.

Thanks for the comment!

Oh, absolutely. I think he's a dependent personality. He needs someone to cleave to, so he feels complete. The person he's dependent on probably determines a lot about how he conducts himself too. At least, that's how I see it.

Well, yay! That's excellent news for us Jaime/Sansa lovers. :) I have two longish unfinished stories for them...no, I take that back, three. Projects for later in the summer, I suppose.
