I tried really hard to stretch the season out for as long as possible. Which for me meant twelve episodes over four days, but I couldn’t make it last a second longer, especially after 2x11. Aww, I am shocked that anyone read this whole post. I don't know why this show of all the shows inspires a feelings explosion for me, but it totally does.

The Gallaghers are total badasses and I love them for it. Watching them bust in on that dude to get Liam back was amazing.

I don't know why this show gives me such a ridiculous amount of feelings. Even GoT usually doesn't warrant this many words. It's just so good! :)

1. I'm going to agree with pretty much all of this. They are so perfect it hurts. And that conversation. Jimmy's voice when he tells her "I won't." GODDDD He's so fucking earnest, S! Like... it pains me! I love them so much.

2. I want ALL THE NICE THINGS for Fiona but her life just keeps trampling her down. Next season she had better get to take some classes. It would just be tragic if not.

3. Those kids are always going to choose each other because at the end of the day there’s them and then there’s everyone else. ARE YOU GOING TO WRITE FIC FOR THIS SHOW?

EXACTLY. Like, how does he even make his voice do that? It's such a simple line, but it killed me, emotionally speaking.

I have to go find your Karen post! She gave me a lot of feelings this season. There was this subtle complexity to her arc that I really admired. I wonder if she'll be back next season?

I can't believe you just made me "aw" about Frank and Monica.Frank and Monica are holy terrors, but watching them together I was like, "Okay, I think I finally get these two humans." Together they make sense, whereas separately I kind of just want to pull a Jimmy and drop them off in a foreign country with no money ( ... )

Weirdly Este reminds me of a friend of mine. A little innocent (clueless about Fiona and Jimmy), but in charge of her sexuality, and at the same time totally endearing? LOL. Yes, I get all of this even though she's spoken Portuguese the entire time.

It's that rare show that gives me everything I want on screen, so I feel like anything I tried to add to that would be straight up terrible. -- I totally know what you mean about this! That's a really good way of putting it. What other shows would you say fit that category? I'm trying to think and I know I've felt this way before, but I can't think of any right now!

Oh gosh, there aren't many. Deadwood, for sure. Also, Terriers, which is a show I did write fic for once, but only because it was Yuletide. The original UK version of Life on Mars too.
