Okay, uh, so, I really liked your prompts. And this happened. It's five different parts so I'm just posting each part under this comment - I have no idea what possessed me but I really hope it fits the bill. Also, some of these are blatantly AU and blatantly denying canon. Also I'm going to shut up and go on with it. I really hope it fits the bill. ;)
“As much as it pains me to say so, it seems like you won your freedom, serJaime just barely hears it - he couldn’t care less for what Stannis Baratheon, newly crowned ruler of the seven kingdoms, has to say about his trial

Sam supposes he should be happy that after the first couple of weeks, everyone but Ser Thorne quits with jokes about him being Jon’s lady love - they probably found them old, by now. Sam is grateful for that because he doesn’t exactly need to hear it spoken - everyone assumes that he blushes and looks down at the ground whenever he hears one because he feels ashamed. No one knows that Sam wishes it was the case and that he never wants Jon to find out - the last thing he knows is alienating his first real friend not even a month after they meet

3 - Stannis/Davos (sort-of-romantic-gesture, from Stannis' pov at least) [pre-series]janie_tangerineNovember 29 2012, 17:47:19 UTC
“You knighted a smuggler?”
Davos sighs as he stands outside the door at the Red Keep along with a number of men that either Stannis or the king have knighted during the rebellion. Some of them are supposed to receive their title during a ceremony a short while from now. Others merely need to have signed some papers that would grant them property over whatever lands they’ve been accorded. Apparently the king and his brother had been going over the names of the last category.
Apparently they reached his. He knows that someone is staring at him. Davos merely touches the pouch on his neck and sighs, waiting for the fallout. He shouldn’t have assumed that every lord was the same as Stannis.
“I did,” Stannis replies. His voice doesn’t waver. “And you are going to seal those papers.”
Someone whistles - Stannis might be the king’s brother, but Davos is quite sure that you’re not supposed to address your king like that, related to him or not.
“Oh, I am?”

I just stumbled across this on my way to writing something myself, and I just needed to say that I love this. Definitely a big romantic gesture from Stannis' pov. ;)

But thank you so very much! <333 and haha I know? I was kind of debating how to go with the Big Romantic Stannis/Davos gesture because they exclude all the usuals, but that one seemed fitting. ;)
Gendry doesn’t even know what he thinks he’s doing. It’s not like Arya is ever going to let go of her old sword, the one her brother gave her, but the thing is old, it’s rusty, and it’s not as sharp as it was before she apparently buried it somewhere in Braavos - she never told him the entire story. It’s not like Arya as she is now is ever going to take it the way he hopes she would. Back in the day she’d have thought that he was doing it just because she was a lady - and what a lady. Right now - right now he doesn’t even know. She’s wary and doesn’t trust most people - even less than before - and while Winterfell has been rebuilt and most of her family is back in it - except the dead, obviously - she looks restless. He wishes that he could just stop feeling whatever it is that he’s always more or less felt for her - after all, she’s still Arya Stark and he’s still Gendry Waters. Learning about his father hasn’t changed anything, and even if it did it wouldn’t have turned him into some kind of lord overnight.
He almost shoves it in her hands, realizing that he doesn’t have the presence of mind to put it nicely - not that she’d appreciate.
She takes it, her hand gripping the handle with ease, and then she turns it over, running her left hand along the blade. Her lips are parted, her mouth open in surprise, her fingertips touching the steel almost reverently.
“You made this for me?” She asks again, but now she sounds awed.
“Do you think I spend my spare time providing new swords to the entire castle? Of course I made it for youThe last thing he’s expecting is for her to place it carefully on the ground before throwing her arms around him and placing a very firm kiss on his cheek. It’s - he doesn’t even know how to put it into words. She never smiled like that, not when he could see her, anyway

He doesn’t show up at dinner that night - he’s too angry at Robb and he doesn’t want to risk another argument. He knows that he’d try to defend his actions again, and the last thing he needs is to have that discussion all over again in front of others.
Hells, he had been trying to save Bran’s life and he actually fucking did, and - he hadn’t expected it from Robb out of anyone. Ned Stark would have been angry, everyone would have been angry (and if it had been anyone else shooting that arrow they wouldn’t have been), but Robb is supposed to - fuck, Theon doesn’t even know what he’s supposed to do. Oh, right, maybe actually be the one person who doesn’t think he’s to be kept at arm’s length

DID YOU EVER KNOW THAT YOU'RE MY HERO...ozmissageNovember 30 2012, 04:21:50 UTC
OMG...YOU ARE SERIOUSLY THE MOST AMAZING PERSON EVER. Dude, I'm awestruck right now. You wrote me five stunning ficlets featuring my favorite pairings...I can't even...just THANK YOU SO MUCH. Now let me squee about them for a second:
“And who said that you were the fair maid in this story, wench?”
AND THEN FLAILING ENSUED. I love, love, love the way you write those two. The whole scenario is made of win, but my heart did that whole growing three sizes thing when he kissed in front of everyone after she was totally his champion. Ye gods, that was flawless. And then when she doubted that he really meant it when he said he wanted to do it again and he just cut her off? *swoons*
“Sam? Shut up,” Jon replies, and then he’s pushing Sam in a dark corner of the hallway and his mouth is on Sam’s and Sam thinks his hands are shaking like never in his life as he reaches up and puts them on Jon’s shoulders, and when they part, he feels breathless and dizzy and good.
“No, I wouldn’t mind,” Jon says quietly. Can I just say you write the most

<333 LET'S SAY I JUST COULDN'T PICK WHO I WANTED TO DO THIS WITH AND THEN I WAS LIKE 'WHAT THE HELL LET'S DO IT WITH EVERYONE' ;) ;) no seriously thanks so much I'm really glad these worked ;DD
That said I really really wanted to do that with Jaime/Brienne because it was the first one that came to mind when I read the big damn kiss prompt so I'll be here being like \o/ (also I'm still hoping that she ends up being his champion in canon because that'd be just awesome but okay, I'll shut up now.)
anytime someone shows them affection it just makes me so happy because they never think they deserve itI KNOW. Which is why I totally couldn't pick between those two ships at first because I was like 'but it'd be a waste not to have either Sam or Brienne get the big romantic gesture!' ;) and he totally deserves Jon kissing him at any possible time. ;) and he could use getting used to it
