Grab James and join the party! Max is camping with Massey, so it's just me and the tiny people. We thought we'd terrorize the beach for a while!

That sounds like fun! I'll be there in a few minutes.

I told the kids, they're cheering. We're packing a picnic, so bring something if you want. Something that'll stay good outside in the heat.

I promised we'd stop at Sal's on the way.

[nods] I agree. It was all fun and games in the beginning, but Dree deserves more than this. It's not our problem if the ol' biddies don't like our family dynamic. It's time to shake things up in my Zone.

[smiles] Yes. Folks need to know once and for all that Garrett is Charlie's father, not that it isn't obvious, and that we're fine with that. Same as they had to get used to me, [though there are still some who do not like her because they fear she would come between Garrett and Becky] they need to get used to her being involved. Maybe not to the same extent that I am, marriage-wise, but should it ever come to that, it is our business, and not theirs.

Okay, so once Garrett and Dree get their sexual tension out of the way, our mission is to make sure that Dree is no longer seen as the nanny.

[nods] Yes. And to make sure we're, more specifically you, are okay with her being in love with him. Because she needs to admit that, or we're all going to go crazy with her. [smirks]
