[takes her hand and leads her over to the nearest chair] Sit please. I am short. [gives her a smile and takes a deep breath] I hear stuff. And I know I am not 'posed to listen to it. But that is not so easy. [makes a face] I been talkin' to Mommy [nods[ and Mommy does what you say first [nods; lowers his voice] and I think she can hear the ladies in Central City, too. [sighs] If you do not like that Mommy said she will marry Daddy [shakes his head] I will make it not happen. [gives her a serious nod] I got that power. [pauses for a moment] But, if you do like it... [raises his eyes and whispers] I got a plan.

[she takes a seat and listens. She grins brightly and places her hand behind his head to guide him towards her so she can place a kiss on his forehead] I do like it. So, what's your plan?

[gives her a mischievous grin] There are lots of parts. Number one [nods and reaches for her hands] I need a 'poin-ment with the Mystic Man.

Moving this along...it's meeting time

[he picks up his phone and calls Susie] Hey, darlin', is my last appointment here? [nods as she answers 'yes'] Oh, good. Send 'im in. [he leans back in his chair and sighs]

[gives Susie a nod when she tells him it's his turn; stops at the corner of her desk and gives her a shrug] It is go time. [reaches for his tie with his free hand] Is it still good?

[garrett_cain]

[she smiles, straightening his tie out just a bit] You're good to go. [she stands] It's go time. [she winks and then leads him to the door and to Garrett's office. She knocks on the door frame and pokes her head in the office.] Mister Cain...

[Garrett stands up and nods]

[Susie glances down at Max and gives him a thumbs up]

[takes a deep breath and signs a 'Thank you' to her; tightens his hold on the plan and steps through the doorway]

[stares at the floor until he gets inside the office, then glances up and gives Garrett a slight bow-nod combination] Thank you for seein' me... Sir.

[waits for the group in front of them to finish checking in at the desk; steps up and pushes up on his toes to see over the counter] Hi. Is Miss Cindy in her office, please?

[the CM at the desk gives him a smile, though his mention of the office causes a pause] And your name?

[his eyes widen slightly] Um.. Maxbroosdonven.

[eyes him, then Garrett and eyes the list of names off to the side of the desk; sees a Donovan on the list, but no Max ; looks at Garrett] And your name?

Garrett Cain. [smiles]

[notes the name is on the list and smiles] Let me check. [picks up the handset and presses the code to dial upstairs]

[steps back from the desk and leans against Garrett's leg] I never made a 'point-ment to see her be-fore. [looks up and shrugs] Miss Cindy al-ways finds us when we are here.

[granted, he's only seen her about three times since the night with the dragon]
