The new job is going pretty good. I've been more or less focusing on the duties there for a couple of weeks, but I began formally full-time this past Monday

It's not annoying, it's just throws me off a little. I forget what you know and what you don't know. I don't mean to make you feel bad if I go "Do such and such" and then you pause silently for a sec and I go "Do you know how to such and such?" - I'm really just trying to find out if you need additional instructions or if there's something else needed, cuz I want to make sure you have the training you need. We go through it with everybody, it's hard to gauge what's "common knowledge" and what's not. We'll get better on both sides of the situation as time goes on. You're doing great.
