Using twhirl to stay up to date with PersianKiwi and Iranian Student - it's fascinating stuff when one includes the fact that one can never be certain (at one's level of computer skill, technically) that the people claiming to be places are, in fact, in those places.

I actually have a political blog I follow who is reporting a lot on the Iranian stuff, and he has a TON of twitter feeds he's following to get news XD He's kind of amazed at how twitter, being the only thing not blocked the the Iranian govt right now, is becoming the communication device of the whatever-it-is X3
