Project NINJA is another step closer to reality. Just finished painting the rear and front suspension and started to assemble the rear lower A arm as you can see in the pic. Now just waiting on more replated parts and then I can start fully assemble the entire rear end!

Curious why you went paint and not powder coating?

probably because that would be nearly $1000 worth of powder coating right there.

Paint is easyer to repair. Powdercoat looks great and is tough as hell but hard to repair when it is chipped. Also if rust dues get under the coat, it usaly falls off in large chips and then you have to get the ole part redone. Not saying that happes all the time..

One more thing, Datsun cars didnt have powder coat.

I can see what you are saying.

Weredog, dude not even for small parts like that. You just pick up a Harbor Freight powder coat gun, the powder is cheep as hell, and you get a old oven on craigslist to keep in the garage.
