okay, so this is exciting! a lot of both shows and music i like are nominated this year! i mean, look at this:
true blood is nominated in the category Outstanding Drama Series. EPIC, and i'm so excited for season three that i don't know what to do with myself. after watching the entire season 1 and 2 on youtube before someone took it down, i was really happy with getting season 1 for christmas, and i really, really, REALLY hope this wins, because it's my very favorite TV show right now.

lady gaga and adam lambert are nominated in Outstanding Music Artist!
adam lambert being nominated, is pretty interesting as ABC is the major sponsor of the awards, and the fact that GLAAD did nothing to support him after the AMAs does make this a little... cynical?
ABC=that channel that canceled a couple of adam's performances after his "controversial" amazing performance at the AMAs.
buffy the vampire slayer ( -ses. 8- by Jane Espenson, Steven S. DeKnight, Drew Z. Greenberg, Jim Krueger, Doug Petrie, Jeph Loeb Joss Whedon) is nominated for Outstanding Comic Book, and i'm also really excited for this! jeph loeb is one of my favorite comic book writers, and i really hope this wins, partly because of him, but also because i really enjoyed it!
also... FINALLY!!!! I never liked them at all and they ruined the show.
