1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Moved Interstate.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I think one of my resolutions was to move, this years will be to enjoy the move. Also to eat less takeaway. Maybe even get healthy - the other week I purchased my first salad ever! I was so proud of myself until I went to eat it and it was just shitty lettuce covered with like 1 other veggie. Stupid healthy shit. I was so hungry I then overate at dinner, drank too much alcohol and almost threw up. Maybe ill just keep eating potato pie.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Loads of my cousins popped out babies, making my christmas present load even more expensive, therefore I didn’t buy any

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. While in Richmond, I hoped that some people would though.

5. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Friends? A decent house? And some more money.

6. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Jeanies drain story & toilet overflow. Funniest ever.

7. What was the best thing you bought?
Give me time, I still have a couple of days of the Sales left.

8. Whose behaviour made you appalled?
People in Sydney. All the Hollywood tarts.

9. Where did most of your money go?
Food, as always. Gigs. Credit Card.

10. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Interpol. Bright eyes.

Interpol, Arcade fire, Bright Eyes,

13. What do you wish you'd done more of?
I wish I had gone to a lot of concerts that I missed out on because I was broke/ or had no-one to go with. NIN, the Hives, The Carpark Festival, etc… Oh and maybe I should have tried to make more friends.

14. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Whingeing. Hiding in my room. Making other people depressed.

15. Biggest disappointment?
Ha ha. The Da Vinci code. I hadnt paid much attention to reviews etc... and read it thinking it was going to be some literary masterpiece, only to discover that it was a hack James Bond thriller. WTF! Note: Do not trust public opinion again.

16. What was your favorite TV program?
Black books, its always black books.

17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Many, many, many people. Specially ones that call me Michelle Leslie.

18. What was the best book you read?
Perfume <3

19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I don’t know if it was this year, but Arcade fire & Wolf Parade

20. What did you want and get?
Mars Volta to come to BDO and they are!

21. What did you want and not get?
Beck to come to BDO/Aus and the bastard isn’t.

22. What was your favorite film of this year?
Harry Potter! The Proposition. Sin City. I went to see the Beck retrospective that was good, although not a film…
23. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Had a party at Wowsville which was great but I lost my voice & Jeanie & Anton tried to frame me. I was turning 22.

24. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Peopleage in Melbourne.

25. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Black, black & black Gaye hair. Ugly boots. Stupid long jeans which don’t mix with wet Melbourne ground.

26. What kept you sane?
I’m really not sure. What makes you think I AM sane?

27. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Johnny Depp, Beck, James Spader, Dave Grohl (although now Im getting sick of his cheesy ass grin and crap new songs)

28. What political issue stirred you the most?
Motherfucking Sydney Riots.

29. Who did you miss?
GOD EVERYONE! JEANIE, TARIQ, CASSIE, DOUCHEBAG, TRIPPO, HANOU, MICHELLE, DANA, KYRON, THE LIST IS ENDLESS

33. What was your favorite moment of the year?
Shut up, but it was probably the Bright Eyes gig.

34. What was your least favorite moment of the year?
Maybe when my brother lost my Interpol tickets. Ive seriously never cried in public before. How pathetic.

35. Where were you when 2005 began?
At the Rosemount with the Jeanie. Jeanie + Me + Alcohol = fun times!

36. How many concerts did you see in 2005?
I have no idea. Many?

37. Did you have a favorite concert in 2005?
Bright Eyes was special. Interpol was atmospheric. Eels was quirky and fun. The Go! Team were surprisingly awesome live. The Shins were beautiful. Snowman are always great.

38. Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005?
At the start, yes. Lately, not a lot. I really should though when I think about it.

39. Did you do a lot of drugs in 2005?
Me? Never.

40. Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Spewed on a couple of peoples sidewalks.

41. How is 2006 Looking?
Pretty sweet. Lots of good bands (maaaars volta!), new fantastic house, a visit back to perth & maybe I can start saving for travel. Or maybe I should study something part time. Oh the possibilities!

I went camping after Christmas. Let me just say I have decided me + outdoors do not go well together. I am glad of that, because there are LEECHES in the outdoors. LEEEECHES!!
