I finally got caught up on watching Dexter. I started watching during the middle of season 4, so I had to catch up watching the first 3 through Netflix. last night I watched the first episode (near the end of season 3) that I ever saw during a Dexter marathon on Showtime a couple months ago. it was funny how much of a difference in perception I had ( Read more... )

it helped for me to have a friend with both Showtime and Netflix who is also addicted to the show, since I wouldnt get to see it otherwise.

I love me some Dexter. I would recommend the books, they are so, so good and even more darkly funny than the series.

I need to catch up on Dexter. I've only seen Season 1 and I just don't have the time to sit through Season 2 though I have the whole thing downloaded and just sitting there waiting for me.

I saw the first episode of the current season and found it disappointing. Married life and a baby...I don't think so. The show has lost it's charm for me. I'm going to watch the rest of the season anyway eventually but I'm not expecting much.

I feel like this about Twilight. I saw both movies and didn't think much of either one. Although I like the wolves in the second one but that was about it. I decided to read the books and see what the big deal was about. I did like the first book but didn't like the second. Not even the wolf scenes. I guess I just liked seeing all those wolves all over the big screen. I haven't read the third book yet so we'll see how I feel about that.

I really liked the photos you took of La Push.

I keep getting travel and moving as part of my tarot readings [not that I necessarily believe in it]. I wonder where I'm going.

you should see the season 4 finale then.
the thing with him having the family is that it's all a front, and then he finds the Trinity Killer and has all this internal conflict that goes back and forth as he's stalking him.

LOL I had the kids I work with play their Twilight DVD yesterday so I could see the locations, and it was soooooo hard to force myself to watch it all the way through. I can see why teeny-bopper girls would be into it, but for those same reasons it's unwatchable for me. I havent endured the second one yet but so far Ive had one person say the CG wolves are lame, another said they're cool, and you sound somewhere in between.

I found the wolves cool in the same way I find Showgirls cool. And, well, the guy who plays Jacob the wolf boy is totally hot so I'm not going to complain about seeing him shirtless. The guy I dated before I married Ian looked like him a little. I only thought he was hot when he had his long hair but I'm biased and I guess they have to go with what the book says.

I got a wild hair today and wanted to dye my hair BLACK. WTF was I thinking? I didn't do it but have no idea what came over me. I think that would look way too severe on me.
