STORY MENU

And the truth shall set you free (Truths 1)
Narrator: Elizabeth.
In a thorny moment, Will and Liz persuade Jack to reveal a secret from his past. Perhaps.

Slightly embroidered (Truths 2)
Narrator: Jack.
The tale Jack tells Will and Elizabeth (and the one he doesn’t).

Superficially true (Truths 3)
Narrator: Norrington
Sparrington detective mystery.

Dear Jack (Lies 1)
Narrator: Bootstrap
Greenbeard (yes, Davy Jones' Navigator) helps Bill write a letter, and gets in his own two shillings’ worth. Lots of angst - with interruptions.

Hector’s Bargain (Lies 2): Part 1; Part 2; Part 3
Narrator: Barbossa
Tia and Barbossa haggle over Jack’s past, present and future.
This one ended up longer, nastier and more complicated than I usually write, but there's a pic of Jack during the mutiny by justawench to reward you when you finish it.

There's also a standalone fic that fits in with Truths and Lies although not strictly part of the series.  It's called Remembrance.

EDIT 07/07/2008: TRUTHS, LIES, AND LEGENDS

I've been writing some post-AWE sequels.

They come with the Truths and Lies AWE Compliance Patch to lovingly retrofit your current Truths and Lies for full canon compliance.  (Known feature contradictions not affected.)

Truths, Lies, and Legends: The Return of the Flying Dutchman
Narrator: Will Turner
There is a way to to leave the Ship of the Dead if someone loves you enough.

Truths, Lies, and Legends: Jack the Hero
The title says it all.

I'd love to hear which ones you read and what you thought - positive AND negative.

And you can click here to see justawench's pics of pre-mutiny Jack and Bill. Be sure to scroll down to see Bill with blue eyes. He's the one in the stories.
