I didn't know that either! And, I must confess, I don't even remember that line, most likely because at that point in the film my brain is going, 'Jacks. Lots and lots and lots of Jacks. Woohoo!'

I thought I was the only one who had these, "Ah ha!" moments. Glad to see another.

I wrote an crack!fic once based entirely on a list of nautical terms. It was quite scandalous! LOL

Fun, isn't it? I'm going to go crackfic hunting one day, if I ever have reading time again. I'm at the point where I'm kind of hoping for a *mild* dose of swine flu, just so I can sit in bed and read.

I'm sorry to disappoint, but I was just looking for stuff for Hector to bellow, so there won't be much Jackly quirkiness there. Nut 9 is really a case of chunking through Way Too Much AWE Plot so I can get to something more fun in Nut 10.
