My name is Angela, and I have a "Sad Bastard" music problem.

Like 3/4 quarters of my music is slow, sad and sappy. I LOVE all that acoustic, vocal stuff.

So, here's where you guys come in. How should I fix this problem? I like to feel good sometimes and my music that does that is very... bare. I'm calling on you, internet friends. Give me

Hm.

Anything Barenaked Ladies, but I realize a lot of people my age don't like them much. :)

Cherry Poppin' Daddies are fun.

Franz Ferdinand.

Fratellis.

Hellogoodbye (Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! album).

Jimmy Eat World (Bleed American album).

Jon Lajoie (internet Youtube guy, he's freakin hilarious).

Joydrop (Viberate album).

Lily Allen.

If you need more moody music, find Majandra. She has three singles (she's an actress) and is super good.

Nightmare of You.

Ok GO (first album, titled Ok GO).

Plushgun (electronic-type).

Riddlin' Kids.

Single File (local band but they had a CD out so you should be able to find them).

Sugarcult.

Spill Canvas.

Tracy Bonham.

Vampire Weekend (self-titled album is better).

Weezer.

Well, I'm more of a top-40 kind of radio listener, but this stuff is all pretty peppy. Maybe you'll like something!
