My high school was horrible academically. This private Southern Baptist school was not accredited, had teachers without degrees (and without certificates) and was missing core classes such as chemistry, trig, literature and of course all the scientific theory one would hope to get in a proper education (heh...the first step in the "scientific ( Read more... )

That's funny. I went to a Christian Academy too, and the most useful and informative class I took in my 10 years as a student there was also typing. Those Christians must have something going on...

What they have goin' on for them is being a dumping ground (tax write-off) for used and obsolete office equipment!

well, that's probably true. at any rate, i can take you to the site of my old school sometime...it's been bulldozed to the ground.

Pity mine hasn't been...It's still a small church with a big metal gym building and about 8 portable out-buildings. If you go to their website you'll notice no shots whatsoever of the facilities...

Hmmm, I can't remember that teacher.... I learned my typing from a horrid of a lady that had major issues, but alas I must say I can type with the best of them. Another A+++ for a private Christian school in the typing dept, too bad you didn't get to go to Greenville, it was much better school by far, I wish I had gone there for more than 2 years.
