Today and tomorrow is the race weekend for the Panoz Racing School, and the people from the school came to SFCC to "hire" (for a weekend) workers to help with the work. We would primarily help the drivers, keep them comfortable, and ensure their proper comfort and safety inside the race car. We also cleaned the cars. Here's some pics of everything ( Read more... )

the last couple days ive been back and forth between napa, advance, and the machine shop, and i've got my new pistons, rings, clutch, pressure plate, crankshaft, new bearings, thermostat, and pushrods, timing chain adjuster. I gotta pick up a new water pump monday. The guys at the machine shop are boreing my block .040" over for the new pistons. ( Read more... )

hello peepz, didn't do much this weekend, just hangin out bein goofy. Me and my bro went into this gas station at night and hopped around saying "mine" like the seagulls in Finding Nemo. Finally, we got the corvette running. We lifted it up and shifted it through all its gears. All nice and firm. Yayz, now i can start thinking about my grand am. Kit kat in hollywood still is powerless :( as she hasn't been online lately. I'm gonna go now nothin to do.. lol peace! :D

today we almost finished the corvette, now we just need some new gas in it before we start it. I spent the day with Sam today, the dude i fed yesterday. the poor guy is homeless, bipolar, and just plain helpless. I told him i'd spend wednesdays with him just hangin out for a while. Just another interesting day..

Today was a long, interesting, fulfilled day. At school I finally convinced my teacher to let me bring in the Grand am. I got the project started pretty quick. Maybe ill have her fixed by time for my vacation. that would rock. Yeah! It's finally gettin cool. I was able to work afterschool and didn't get hot at all. almost finished the corvette, just some linkage and vacuum hoses and it'll be runnin. hopefully. lol.
