So here's what's been going on.

I got psychologically evaluated. No, not for my sake (tho' that could prove useful), but for some grad student. It was interesting going through all the various tests, and now I've finally seen all the Rorschach patterns. If you're going to tune your own piano, check out this website: http://www.larips.com/ He has a pretty good claim to having discovered Bach's Own Tuning, and I think that would be much less boring than plain ol' equal temperament.

The hell? An actual real piano? I thought this was some metaphor. Or something.

An actual real live almost-in-tune piano. Upright. Very short. Not in the greatest shape. Some of the keys are soft. But what the hell, it was $200. My reasoning was I could spend four times that and not have a piano four times as good.
