Go to other businesses, not just doctors.
Ask them to sponsor you for a certain amount of money.
Alot of businesses will do it for publicity & what not.
I had to do it for a beauty padgent I was in.
Its a really good idea....
Say if 5 companies sponsor you for $100 each, thats an easy $500.
Some might offer more, but some might also offer less.

Another suggestion would be to see restaurants in your area. I know for sure UNO's does the thing where you give out coupons, and whoever uses the coupons you gave out, you get a percentage of their bill.

Also, in my college club, we do many bakesales and stuff. Krispy Kreme Donut sales also seem to work well.

as annielovesyou said, krispy kreme donut sales work well, as do magazine drives, and candy.it it was still the holiday season, wreaths are good fundraisers too. but that doesn't help you right now. oh, but sense it's spring i bet you could do flower sales or something. go to a florist and ask for a donation. or raffles. in 8th grade we did a ton of raffles and we all went to a bunch of places in boston for a night.

i'm from vermont. right near the canadian border. my old school (middle school) goes there every year for an overnight thing if we can raise the money.

Yea, I was going to suggest selling drinks or sweets at the car wash to bring in extra money. Chocolate always does well!

why don't you have a dinner auction?
its fun and it can raise a lot of money. You could go around to local businesses like spa's and stuff and ask for gift certificates and then throw a big auction/dinner party to sell all the things you collected as donations.
