We've had warmth and light, then sudden cloudbursts, then back to blue and gold, all in the course of a few hours.

Happy bibliophiles are out for a wander; tourists are dropping in for a minute and staying for hours. I like Saturdays.

I spent the afternoon with a fellow LJI competitor, checking out a special exhibition on "The Gilded Age" at The Museum of the City of New York.

And on the way home, I had dinner at my favorite Greek restaurant in town.

Did I mention that I walked across Central Park in the sunshine to get to the restaurant?

I'm glad we're both having a good Saturday.
