Such has been my torpid state of mind that I didn't notice my paid account expired. I don't know how to get my icons back, so I'll go with the "Muse" anime painting that The Esteemed FRM found for me more than a decade ago as my default appearance. She looks enough like me anyway, or at least a stylized ideal to strive for

Unless they changed something, your icons should still be there- they just only allow however many to be available for use. I've gone from paid to non-paid account before and didn't actually lose anything. I hope you didn't!

its a slug day for me today too
its been so cold and just slept
